MILITARY SPECIFICATION

DIGITAL CHART OF THE WORLD (DCW)

This Specification is approved for use by all
Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.

	1.	SCOPE

	1.1	Scope.  These specifications define the content and structure
of the U.S. National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) Digital Chart of the World (DCW)
product.

	1.2	Purpose.  Conformance to these specifications assures
uniformity of treatment among all mapping and charting elements engaged
in coordinated production and maintenance program of this product.

	1.3	Security.

	1.3.1	Security classification of specification.  This product
specification is UNCLASSIFIED.

	1.3.2	Security classification of product.  The DCW is UNCLASSIFIED.
